Pause, Rest but Never Quit!

“Every person needs to take one day away. A day in which one consciously separates the past from the future. Jobs, family, employers, and friends can exist one day without any one of us, and if our egos permit us to confess, they could exist eternally in our absence. Each person deserves a day away in which no problems are confronted, no solutions searched for. Each of us needs to withdraw from the cares which will not withdraw from us.”- Maya Angelou

A set routine structures your day and allows you to make the most of your time. It provides balance to your fast paced, chaotic and busy lives. Additionally, a good routine also helps you divide your personal and professional commitments maximize productivity and avail as many benefits as possible from the 24 hours available to you in a day. However, sometimes, the comfort a routine brings can easily morph into confinement. The same old motions of your daily lives can begin to feel rather exhausting and mentally draining. The monotony of the daily patterns – work, eat, sleep and repeat – become uninspiring.

Moving ahead should be the only direction! Even if the speed is slow. Taking a break recollects your energy and brings you closer to your goal.
